            Welcome Rocks, Grand Lake

As you round the curve coming into Grand Lake, a bank of rocks covered with snow welcomes.  I did a quick sketch and created the collage with papers and shapes.  Perhaps the sky should be differentiated from the rocks and snow.  This collage is a stimulus for a painting in my Grand Lake Series.
